Version 8.6 of baramundi's Management Suite Supports Windows 8
Version 8.6 of the system management solution "baramundi Management Suite" promises even more efficient and comprehensive management of IT environments – also on the upcoming Microsoft Windows 8 operating system. These new features include the new Remote Control for the remote maintenance of Windows clients, the revised OS-Cloning module for installation by cloning, and a completely new DIP Sync for fully automated synchronization of the DIP file server.

MSI Repackaging is Inefficient and Damaging to Businesses
Microsoft has been warning against unreliable repackaging processes for years. Due to their many years of experience, the experts at DAVI Engineering GmbH can completely support Microsoft's statements. "In our opinion, the line of argument can be extended further: all installation logic developed and tested by the provider is destroyed in MSI repackaging. The more perfectly the installation routines have been set by the provider, the more effort is needed for repackaging."
