baramundi Inventory in detail

baramundi Inventory facilitates the creation of inventories for all hardware and software components in each target system. baramundi Inventory catalogs a target system in the IT network in just a few seconds without disturbing the user. For a complete overview of all programs, it does not matter whether you install the software with the baramundi Management Suite, manually, or using other management tools. baramundi Inventory automatically detects the software installed on desktop clients, notebooks and servers and lists it in full.
All captured data is stored in the baramundi database. The integrated processes are supplemented by user-defined inventory management: Inventory can be performed according to specific criteria and will be scheduled for each target system, giving you plenty of leeway: you can capture data via input masks or external databases, store it in the baramundi database, and even make it accessible to other applications.

License Management

With baramundi Inventory, it’s easy to maintain an overview of your licenses. Reliably avoid any serious fines for underlicensing and reduce the number of unneeded licenses to what you really need. Define an individual threshold value for yourself to indicate impending underlicensing in good time. You can tap into additional savings potential by adding baramundi AUT to baramundi Inventory. It reliably identifies software that is no longer used, helping you save costs by eliminating any unnecessary license fees. You can then use baramundi License Management to manage the licenses recorded in your inventory data.

Reporting

baramundi Reporting provides you with a quick and informative summary of all the data in your baramundi database. Standard reports about hardware and software configuration are already integrated. You can easily adapt all reports to your needs.

Helpdesk Integration

When dealing with support inquiries, all the information that you need is at your fingertips, as the inventory data collected in the baramundi Management Suite is also available via the baramundi Interface (bConnect), and can be accessed by your helpdesk system, for example.
