The Albertina Museum is located in the historic center of Vienna and combines imperial charm with great art. The former Habsburg residence is now an art museum of international renown. Today, approximately 225 employees work in the former state rooms from the Habsburg era. The Albertina’s IT team consists of three employees and the head of internal services, Mario Ebner. Ebner manages approximately 350 clients across a total of four locations.
Endpoint Management Made Easy
The endpoints are distributed across two museums and two storage facilities. The system manages desktop PCs, laptops, and smartphones, each running different operating systems. Previously, server locations and information were visualized using Hyper-V and managed with SCCM.
However, the application’s complexity made network management considerably more difficult for the small IT team and hindered growth.

This allows us to gradually standardize our software landscape and keep a constant eye on our license management.
IT support, too, would be impossible to handle with our current staff size without baramundi,” Ebner summarizes.
