Product Life Cycle at baramundi

From Planning to End of Life

The Software Product Life Cycle in Focus

The software life cycle is the structured process of developing, deploying, maintaining, and discontinuing various features within the software.
It consists of several recurring phases, from planning to end-of-life (EoL).

End-of-Life Phases at Baramundi

The end-of-life process for a feature within the baramundi software product consists of several phases that define the transition from active support to discontinuation.
These phases typically include:

EoD

End of Development
The product will no longer receive new features or updates. During this phase, only critical security issues will be addressed, external API/OS changes will be accommodated, and operating system compatibility will be verified. Consulting and support will continue to be available.

EoS

End of Services
This feature is no longer visible or available, will not receive any updates, and is now only supported on a limited basis. For customers who rely heavily on this feature, it can be temporarily reactivated upon individual request. To do so, please contact your sales representative or submit your feedback here. (opens in new tab)

EoL

End of Life
All official support and updates will be discontinued, and the application will no longer be made available.

Legacy

Legacy Status
The legacy status (e.g., Windows XP compatibility) is reserved for applications that are kept operational but are no longer supported.
