Your Application at baramundi

As Simple as Possible

This is how our application process works

Your path to the baramundi team

For us, the application process is above all one thing:
a chance to get to know each other as equals. Because every team is different, no process is exactly the same.

In general, however, you can expect the following process:

Find a Position

Discover a position that suits you, based on department, location or working model. Haven't found the right fit? Unsolicited applications are always welcome.

Apply Online

Apply directly via our online form. No cover letter needed, your CV is enough.

Application Received

We review your application. Our recruiting team forwards it directly to the relevant department. We carefully assess your application and decide together whether to invite you for an interview.

First Introduction

Has your application impressed us?
Then we'll invite you to an initial remote interview with your future team lead.

Further Interview

Depending on the position, a second interview may follow. We’ll talk about the specific responsibilities and clarify any open questions. A short assessment or a practical task may also be part of the process. You'll also get to know your potential future team.

Offer & Onboarding

If everything goes well, you'll receive a contract offer from us. Then it's time to say: Welcome to baramundi! Your onboarding, including a buddy and an onboarding plan, is already waiting for you.

Application Tips

  • Be yourself. We want to get to know you, not a perfect façade.
  • Photo? Not a must. If you include one, we're happy to see it. If not, that's perfectly fine too. What matters to us is your personality and your skills.
  • Keep it clear and structured. Show us what you can do and what matters to you, briefly and to the point. Special experience, specific strengths or work samples? Always welcome!
  • Show interest. Learn about baramundi beforehand and feel free to bring your questions.
  • Be honest. Tell us what you're looking for and what you'd still like to learn.
  • Be punctual and prepared. Sounds obvious, but it always makes a good impression.
  • Mutual respect matters. We have conversations, not interrogations. And we're just as curious about you as you are about us.
  • Dress code? Come as you are. At baramundi, what matters is who you are, not what you wear. Whether it's jeans, sneakers or a hoodie, wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, even during the interview. We value personality, not formal dress codes.
