Managing Global Infrastructures

Redpalm deals mainly with UK based companies, however over time, we have developed a niche for helping global companies that are faced with the challenge of standardising and managing global IT infrastructures. Our service desk is based in the UK, but we run it around the clock to cater to our clients’ global support needs. Our system deployment services utilise Microsoft SCCM distribution points that span 5 continents. Redpalm has in-house expertise in global logistics and has successfully deployed custom-imaged systems to over 40 countries worldwide.

Based out of our dedicated Technical Operations Centre in a purpose-designed, secure premises in Northampton, Redpalm provides an ISO accredited and ITIL-aligned 24/7 Service Desk. Our customer friendly Service desk analysts are experienced and accredited to offer a single point of contact for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support across a range of technologies and vendors.

The Redpalm Service Desk forms part of our redCARE SinglePoint™ brand of services, which focus on offering one point of contact that removes the need for customers to deal with multiple vendors. This includes the ability to provide Network Monitoring, Wellness Reporting, Proactive Alerts, 3rd Party Vendor Management, SLA-based fixes with a money-backed guarantee to never hit voicemail, boasting an average time to answer calls of 4 seconds. We feel this demonstrates well the emphasis we put on achieving excellent levels of service via or redCARE SinglePoint™ brand.

redCARE SinglePoint™ also provides Break/Fix Hardware Support that offer “guaranteed fix” SLA’s and Co-terminus contracts with truly global onsite engineer capability.

Our wider Managed Services portfolio expands to offer Redpalm’s own ultra-flexible redCLOUD platform, Hybrid Cloud Consultancy and Cloud aggregation, redCONNECT connectivity services inc. Fibre, EFM, MPLS networks, and Hosted Voice. Co-Lo datacentre space is available with redSPACE rack hosting in an MPLS connected network of 100+ datacentres in the UK. Redpalm is also environment agency certified as a Waste Carrier and Broker, and has specialist expertise in IT Asset disposition, working with CESG accredited data erasure techniques. This offers our customers total IT lifecycle management.

Solutions

Redpalm is first and foremost a consultancy business, offering impartial advice on a specific set of technology areas that we feel have the ability to transform an organisation. From Data Storage, Data Security & Management, Cloud migration and aggregation of Hybrid infrastructures, Wireless and Connectivity, and Unified Communications, our solution architects provide credible advice to assist customers with the selection of technology and vendors that are most suited to meet their business requirements, both now and into the future. Our solutions cover full Business and IT Strategy, Solution Design, Project Management and Implementation, and have valuable experience of implementing and project managing solutions across a range of vertical markets in both the public and private sectors.

Our in-house technical knowledge is extensive, but we also pride ourselves on our stringently vetted network of consultants and specialist technical resource that provides niche expertise and system installations.  We call this our “resource on demand” model.  We see our role as aligning technical resource whether through our internal or external consultants, that best suits the specific query or larger project needs of our customers.

Through our skills matrix database, your Account Manager is able to identify the right technical specialist to attend a Webex, face-to-face, or conference call to discuss any aspect of your requirement. Account Managers act as the main point of contact throughout a project and we encourage all Account Managers to take an active role in your project by attending any project scoping meetings alongside any of our system engineers and project managers. This method is important to us to ensure projects move along in a cohesive manner and that there is a “joined up” feeling of collaboration. We feel good communication via pre-sales and account management involvement is a key part of a successful project.

With an average of 300,000 IT products in stock at any time, the widest distribution network in the market, Redpalm offers same-day or timed next-day delivery of IT Hardware and Software.  Through remaining agile with a streamlined business model, our "Just In Time" approach to stock ensures customers benefit from reducing technology costs. Our highly experienced Account Managers are empowered to deal with any IT requirement and ensure customer needs are always met. Your repeat custom is at the heart of what we do, and this is only achieved through being reliable in the long term, which is why many of our supply relationships date back over 10 years. Customers can browse product specs and images and self-fulfil orders via smartSOURCE™, our B2B Customer portal that puts our entire distribution network at our customers’ fingertips.
