Yes! Flexibility is part of our everyday work. Whether full-time, part-time, flextime, or mobile work — together we’ll find the model that suits you and your team best. Possible options include:

• Flextime instead of fixed core hours
• Up to 70% mobile work depending on the role
• Part‑time options & a 4‑day week (starting at ≤ 36 hours/week)
• Swap days, sabbaticals, or international stays (USA)
• 30 days of vacation with a 37‑hour week
• Flex days to compensate for overtime

Yes! Depending on your role, you can work in a hybrid setup or from home. What matters to us is trust, flexibility, and good coordination within the team. So whether you prefer working in the office, at home, or a mix of both — we’ll find the model that works best for you.

Working from home means you work permanently from your home — at a fixed, set‑up workstation. The location is clearly defined and agreed upon with your manager.

Mobile work is more flexible: you can work from anywhere — at home, in a café, on the train, or even abroad (depending on agreements and legal requirements). There is no fixed location as long as technology, data protection, and team coordination are ensured. At baramundi, mobile work is possible for up to 70% of your working time — the remaining time is spent in the office.

• Career levels: with Junior, Intermediate, Senior, and Lead, we offer orientation without putting you into a box.
• Individual development: through coaching, trainings, language courses, or workshops — we consciously invest time and budget in your growth, and all during working hours.
• New perspectives: internal moves to different roles or departments are possible. If it’s not an immediate fit, we’ll work with you on a development plan to help you take your next step.
• Future skills: we think ahead — together with you, we develop the skills that will be needed tomorrow, even if you don’t have them yet.

Our company language is English — because we’re growing internationally and work across different locations. Even though we were founded in Augsburg and many colleagues speak German, we switch to English whenever international team members are involved.

So you don’t need to speak German to be successful at baramundi — unless it’s explicitly required in the job posting. What matters is that we understand each other — professionally, personally, and as a team.

Depending on the department, we work with tools such as Microsoft 365, Azure DevOps, Git, Jira, Confluence, Power BI, and modern frameworks & tools — you’ll find the specific tech stack detailed in each job posting.

This way, you have clear guidance from day one — while still having plenty of room to find your own way of working.
