OTRS is a service management suite for process and communication management. OTRS can be fully managed in ISO/IEC 27001 certified data centers or operated as an on-premise solution in your own data centers. In addition, there is the free ((OTRS)) Community Edition.
Since November 2018, OTRS AG has been offering OTRS 7, a paid version, which can be upgraded with additional functionalities (e.g. external customer interface, dynamic search, individual content pages) from the free version ((OTRS)). Community Edition. The new features of each version are included in the free version with a delay of about two years.
OTRS gives its users the freedom to configure the software according to their individual requirements. Due to the high scalability OTRS can be adapted quickly. Users worldwide appreciate the possibility to work with OTRS immediately without lengthy conception and development phases.
OTRS has been certified as a SERVIEW CERTIFIEDTOOL with 13 ITIL processes since 2018 and thus ideally supports the requirements of IT service management with certified and established processes. OTRS thus enables ITIL-compliant processes and offers its own CMDB as well as connections to inventory software such as Baramundi. Further connection options are available via Web Services or connectors to SAP, BMC Remedy, Salesforce and others.
