Users elect baramundi champion

Augsburg/Nuremberg, 11. October 2019 – baramundi software AG proves to be a "champion" in the new "Professional User Rating: IT Operations (PUR-IT OPS)" study. The analysts from techconsult confirmed the Augsburg-based Unified Endpoint Management specialist's outstanding excellence in the area of "Client Lifecycle Management" at the award ceremony at it-sa trade show in Nuremberg. With its above-average provider rating, baramundi clearly sets itself apart from the majority of market competitors.

The research and analyst house techconsult examined the solutions of the most significant IT companies in the recently published PUR-IT Operations Study with a Germany-wide survey of 1400 user companies. The users evaluated the companies regarding the technical quality of their solution in the area of "Technology/Solution Rating" as well as their service and support performance in the "Company Rating" dimension. The excellent individual results in the user survey convinced the analysts at techconsult to award baramundi the top rating "Champion" in the "Client Lifecycle Management" category.

"The "Champion" title at Client Lifecyle Management once again confirms that our service and product strategy is exactly in line with the users' needs," explained Dr. Lars Lippert, CEO of baramundi software AG, at the award ceremony at the it-sa trade fair in Nuremberg: "Our customers appreciate our close cooperation and open, honest communication as much as the high quality of our product and support.

Leading position in manufacturer evaluation – Loyalty

In the new study, baramundi receives highest ratings for its performance as a manufacturer and for the baramundi solution. In the overall assessment of the manufacturers, baramundi is one of the frontrunners and achieves the highest score in the area of loyalty (91.3 out of 100 possible points) ahead of all other providers. The respondents agreed that the baramundi solution not only fulfils all the manufacturer's promises, but that they would also recommend baramundi on their own initiative.

High Performer in Software Asset & License Management

baramundi also received an award in the area of Software Asset & License Management: The SAM module of the baramundi Management Suite, which was only recently added last year, achieved the title of "High Performer". The interviewees praised the solution optimized for small and medium-sized enterprises for the clear and fast recording of licensing activities. "We are very proud to be in such a good position with such a new product," said Lippert. "The result shows that there is a genuine need for a lean SAM solution, which we have been able to fulfill with our module."

Positioning as champion in the PUR-IT Operations Diamond

Based on the outstanding individual results of the manufacturer and solution evaluation, techconsult positions baramundi software AG at the top of the Client Lifecycle Management diamond chart as one of the leading "champion" providers. The PUR-IT-Operations-Diamond is a two-dimensional diagram that stands at its top. The better a provider was rated in both dimensions (manufacturer and solution), the higher it is placed in the diamond. Being classified as a champion means that the supplier can convince his customers of the quality of his solution as well as of himself as a company and has received above-average ratings.
